Custard pasties- by twin cooking

you will need:                                           serves 2

1 sheet of jus-roll puff pastry

 500ml carton of custard

some sugar

some milk

method:

  1. preheat the oven to 200C and cut your puff pastry into quaters
  2. fill 2 of the quaters with a smallish dollop of custard
  3. put one of the quaters that dosen't have custard on it on one that does and use a fork to crease the edges
  4. use your fingers to rub milk on the top
  5. sprinkle the top with sugar
  6. cook for 20 to 25 minuites
  7. enjoy

Simple sandwich-By twincooking

You will need:                                                        Serves 2
  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • A handfull of white or red grapes
  • Some lettuce
  • 1/2 a cucumber cut up into slices
  • Mayo

    Method:
  1. Slice all the grapes in half.
  2. Spread the mayo over the tortilla wrap.
  3. Place the sliced cucumber on 1/2 of the wrap and then add the lettuce and then the grapes.
  4. Roll the wrap up and cut it in half.
  5.  ENJOY

Meringues-By twincooking

  • 250g Sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • A large spotless mixing bowl
  • An eletric whisker
  1. Get 1 spotless mixing bowl and add the egg whites. Pre-heat the oven to 110 deg C 
  2. Start wisking the eggs and when they form soft peaks start adding the sugar a table spoon at a time while your whisking. 
  3. Carry on whisking untill they have formed thick peaks
  4. Place a peice of baking paper on a baking tray and spoon out the mixture into several small heaps or1 large heap.
  5. Put the meringues in the oven, close the door, turn it off and wait for 1 hour and DO NOT open the door before the time is up!!! 
  6. enjoy
